       On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Vietnam joining ASEAN (July 28, 1995 - July 28, 2025), following the success of the 45th ASEAN Summit in Vientiane - Laos, implementing Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Politburo on international integration in the new situation, Resolution No. 68/NQ-TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development; The Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, the Central Committee of the Vietnam-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Development Association, the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Times Magazine - Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Center for Enterprise and Brand Development, the International Association of Small and Medium Enterprises in coordination with relevant Ministries, Departments, Branches, Associations and units will organize the "ASEAN Economic Forum 2025" and the "ASEAN Award 2025" Award Ceremony with the theme "ASEAN Economic Integration in the Era of Growth" scheduled to take place in August in the Capital of the Republic of Singapore.

    The event is a gathering place for large economic groups, finance, banking, construction, pharmaceuticals-cosmetics, CNC agriculture, healthcare, education, technology, tourism, import-export, logistics, ... at the same time cheering, praising, honoring and awarding enterprises, units, and individuals who have had outstanding achievements in socio-economic development activities. In the program, the Organizing Committee will arrange an exhibition area, displaying typical brands and products of Vietnam and participating ASEAN countries to enhance promotion, connection, experience exchange and expand international economic cooperation.
       ASEAN with a population of about 695 million people, ranked 3rd in the world, in 2024, the GDP of the ASEAN region will reach about 3,970 billion USD, ranked 5th in the world. Vietnamese enterprises need to proactively integrate into the region and participate in new-generation free trade agreements such as CPTPP, EVFTA, RCEP to bring many benefits to Vietnam, including expanding the market, attracting foreign investment and improving competitiveness and innovation. With the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), enterprises have the opportunity to access a market of more than 499 million people, with a GDP of up to 10.6 trillion USD, equivalent to 13.3% of the world's GDP. The Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) opens the door to a market with a GDP of 18 trillion USD, equivalent to 22.6% of the world's GDP. Meanwhile, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), with the participation of 15 members, will create a market of over 2.2 billion people, with a GDP equivalent to 26,200 billion USD, becoming the largest free trade area in the world.
